MEET CANDACE

THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE FOR TOWN SUPERVISOR

Candace has lived in Coeymans for 48 years, raising her two children here with her husband Albert. She knows our community values, she knows what we need, and knows how to get us there.

For too long Coeymans has been without effective leadership. But Candace is ready to change that.

Serving as Town Clerk since 2022, Candace has the experience. Her reputation for hard work and delivering for the people of Coeymans - no matter their party - earned her the Democratic and Republican nomination in 2025.

That's exactly the kind of leadership we need right now here in Coeymans.

Stephen Donnelly

FAILED LEADERSHIP. QUESTIONABLE RECORD.

Like many communities, Coeymans is facing real challenges. After years in office, Stephen Donnelly’s record makes it clear he isn't up to the job.

As both Town Supervisor and the Town’s Chief Financial Officer, Donnelly bears direct responsibility for the poor financial management and budgeting.

Further, the Town’s own meeting minutes raise troubling questions about transparency, accountability, and whether residents can trust Donnelly’s leadership.

And at a time when families are already struggling with rising costs, Donnelly is proposing a tax increase of more than 10%.

For Coeymans to move forward, it's time for new leadership.

As we tighten our budgets, Donnelly has a questionable record when it comes to finances.

Town-wide attorney expenses exceeded the original budget allocations two years in a row.

And serious questions have been raised about payments with insufficient funds

FAILED LEADERSHIP

Town Board members have publicly questioned financial reporting, grant communication, and whether the information given to the board was accurate and complete.

Two councilmembers said they felt misled about a WIIA grant.

LACK OF TRANSPARENCY

A councilmember sought an ethics review of alleged overlap between Donnelly’s political Facebook activity and town resources.

Not to mention the concerns with his dual role as Supervisor and CFO.
